HJSplit is a program for splitting larger files into smaller ones. With it you can also compare two files for absolute equality, generate checksums, and last but not least: glue the previously split file-parts back together again. Very useful for transferring large files onto disks or through networks! Now also available: the little counterpart of HJSplit. It's called...HJ-Join. HJ-Join is a small automatic file-joiner which can easily be distributed along with files which are split using HJSplit.
